Democratic Party Values – Events must support Democratic candidates, policies, and priorities. They should not promote non-Democratic candidates or causes.

Compliance with Laws & Regulations – All events must comply with local, state, and federal election laws, including those regarding campaign finance and voter registration.

No Personal Fundraising – Events may not be used to solicit personal donations, unapproved campaigns, organizations or to promote businesses.

Transparency & Accuracy – When discussing policies, candidates, or voter information, ensure that all details shared are accurate and based on reliable sources.

Safety & Accessibility – Hosts should prioritize participant safety and, where possible, choose locations that are accessible to individuals with disabilities.

Clear Communication – Be responsive to attendee questions and provide clear event details, including time, location, and purpose.

Media & Photography – If press or photography will be involved, hosts should disclose this upfront and ensure attendees are comfortable with their participation being documented.
